Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to ensuring that you receive the best possible treatment for your sleep health concerns. From in-center testing to specialized at-home sleep apnea testing, we are here to support your health and wellness journey.
Since our founding in 2017, SCAHC Sleep Center has been dedicated to providing high-quality sleep care to our patients. As a result, the SCAHC Sleep Center achieved national accreditation with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). The SCAHC Sleep Center is currently the only AASM certified sleep center on native land in the United States. AASM Accreditation is a difficult process and accreditation requires a quality sleep program with trained and experienced staff to achieve this high level of national recognition. Our sleep team is proud of this achievement and as a patient you will directly benefit from having testing done at an AASM Accredited facility like the SCAHC Sleep Center.
The SCAHC Sleep Center is a 2-bed facility offering in-lab comprehensive sleep testing as well as limited channel Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) for qualified patients. A sleep study provides a sleep doctor with the most complete evaluation of your sleep. You will be required to stay overnight at a sleep center. A sleep study records your brain waves, heartrate and breathing as you sleep.
A home sleep apnea test provides a medical provider with information to diagnose sleep apnea. It allows you to sleep at home wearing equipment that collects information about how you breathe during sleep. You will usually set up the testing equipment yourself.
A CPAP titration study is an overnight sleep study used to properly set continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy. CPAP is a common treatment used to manage sleep-related breathing disorders including sleep apnea.
CPAP therapy is the leading treatment for sleep apnea. CPAP stands for continuous positive airway pressure. CPAP therapy keeps your airway open by gently providing air through a mask you wear while you sleep. This splints the airway open and eliminates the breathing pauses caused by sleep apnea.
Oral appliance therapy is a treatment for snoring and sleep apnea. It involves wearing a removable oral appliance in your mouth when you sleep. The device fits much like a sports mouth guard or orthodontic retainer.
An oral appliance prevents your airway from collapsing.
Surgery may be a part of the treatment plan for some patients with sleep apnea or snoring. Your sleep team may recommend surgery if you can’t tolerate CPAP therapy. Some surgeries are minimally invasive, while others are more complex.
This mask is one of the lightest, smallest, and easiest to use masks. It sets under the nose and has minimal headgear.
This is an over the nose style mask. The headgear is designed to avoid the ear and offer stability.
A standard over the nose Full face mask for mouth breathers that cannot tolerate a nasal mask or under the nose style.
A minimalistic Full-face mask that sits under the nose and over the mouth to help minimize the overall size of the mask.
